At approximately 8:20pm on Thursday 17 February 2011, a locally-made rocket hit the house of Samir Sabri Mustafa Al Falleet, 51, which is located in the Um Dheer neighborhood, southeast of Deir Al Balah town.
The two-story house hosts three families, about nine persons; six of whom are children.
In his affidavit to Al Mezan, Samir said that a locally-made rocket hit his house from the south.
The rocket left a hole in the wall.
The windows panes were smashed and doors broken.
Some of the furniture was also damaged.
He added that his son, Mustafa, 5, was injured in the head and was admitted to Al Aqsa Hospital in Deir Al Balah for medical treatment.
The Police Explosive Unit arrived at the place and collected the remaining of the rocket.
