In the morning hours on Sunday 2 January 2011, ten Israeli tanks accompanied by armored bulldozers moved, amid sporadic fire, about 300 meters into the north of the As-Saifa area, which is located northwest of Beit Lahyia town, in North Gaza District.
The Israeli bulldozers leveled the land that had been frequently razed in the past.
The bulldozers also dug several deep holes before they withdrew from the area at approximately 2:30pm on the same day.
No casualties or injuries were reported in this incursion.
