In the morning hours on Sunday 26 December 2010, the Gaza Government's internal security apparatus summoned twenty Fatah activists and members to its office in Rafah town, south f the Gaza Strip.
Some of the summoned persons were released in the evening on the same day and others were released in the morning on Monday 27 December 2010.
Four of the summoned persons were still in detention when this news headline was published at 2pm on 28 December 2010.
Al Mezan identified their names as follows:
· Yousif Ahmed Lafi.
36;
· Nael Iyada Bader Sha'ath, 41;
· Mahmoud Rushdi Tawfeeq Sha'ath, 31; and
· Ali Hassan Ali Naser, 38.
The detained persons were referred to the Rafah police station.
In their affidavits to Al Mezan, they said that the internal security apparatus questioned them about their alleged Fatah-related activities.
