In the morning hours on Wednesday 29 December 2010, the Gaza Government's internal security apparatus summoned seven Fatah activists to its office in Deir Al Balah town, in Middle Gaza district.
The summoned persons were given different times to present themselves at the apparatus office on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday 31-31 December 2010 and 1 January 2011.
Al Mezan identified the names of the summoned persons as follows:
· Hussam Abu Zayid, from the Az-Zawaida village;
· Ashraf Abu Sitta, from the Az-Zawaida village;
· Iyad Al 'Ati, from Deir Al Balah town;
· Sami Abu Samra, from Deir Al Balah town;
· Mohamed Eid, from Al Bureij refugee camp;
· Mohammed Qandeel, from Al Bureij refugee camp; and
· Rezeq Abu Al Kas, from Al Bureij refugee camp.
