At approximately 1:30am on Monday 22 November 2010, unknown persons detonated an explosive device in the house of Yousif Bahjat Ibrahim Abu Dan, 56. The house is located in Block (12) in the Al Buriej refugee camp in Middle Gaza district. As a result, the windowpanes of the house were smashed, causing injuries to the owner of the house in the right shoulder and to his son Ahmed, 22, in the legs. The house was partially damaged. Neighbors were terrified from the explosion. The police arrived at the scene of the incident and initiated an investigation. The Police Explosives Unit collected samples and the remaining of the explosive device.
