At approximately 7am on Wednesday 20 October 2010, Israeli tanks and armored bulldozers moved, under heavy fire, about 300 meters inside the Al Fokhari village near the Sofa crossing, in southeast of Khan Younis district.
Bulldozers leveled the lands in the area.
The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) opened fire at Palestinian houses and farms in the area.
As a result, Hassan Salman Abu Reedeh, 63, was injured in the neck while he was collecting olives from his orchard, which is located about a kilometer from the separation fence between the Gaza Strip and Israel.
Abu Reeda was admitted to the European Gaza Hospital.
Medical sources described his medical situation as stable.

11:30am on the same day, the IOF withdrew from the area.
