On Sunday 10 October 2010, the internal security apparatus in Gaza summoned 19 Fatah members and activists; instructing them to appear at its office in Gaza City at 9am on Monday 11 October 2010.
The apparatus interrogated them about their work, confiscated passports of some of them, and released them in the afternoon hours on the same day.
Some of the summoned persons had been summoned more than once during October.
Al Mezan identified the names of the summoned persons as follows:
· 'Awni As-Sindawi, member of Fatah leadership;
· Ahmed Al Hwiti, Fatah secretary of As-Sabra neighborhood;
· Sharef 'Oda;
· Abdel Raheem Ad-Dardasawi;
· Hassan Al 'Ijla;
· Mahdi S'aeed Al Masri;
· Zakariya Sadiq Abu Karsh;
· Jamal Mohammed Al 'Asali;
· Maher Ghazi Al 'Asali;
· Salah Mohammed Al Qatnani;
· 'Akef Shalabi;
· Wael As-Salmi, a major in the police investigation unit;
· Sa'eed Mohammed Sa'ad;
· Ibrahim Salman Sbita;
· Shehta Mohammed Sheta Kuhail;
· Iyad Abdel Ra'uof As-Sdodi;
· Surour Rashed Al Nemer;
· Nafez Shehta Al 'Ara'er; and
· Raed Zuhdi Badawi.
