Short Link:
In the evening hours on Tuesday 5 October 2010, the internal security apparatus in Gaza summoned 26 activists from Fatah and other Palestinian factions and officers at the Palestinian National Authority (PNA) security apparatuses in North Gaza district.
The PNA officers are members of apparatuses that have been instructed not to serve in Gaza since Hamas took over the Gaza Strip in June 2007.
They answer to the PNA government in Ramallah.
The internal security asked the summoned persons to bring their passports with them and to present themselves at its office in Jabalia refugee camp on Thursday 7 October 2010.
When they presented themselves at the place and time mentioned, they were not detained as the apparatus office was evacuated due to the risk of Israeli attacks.
