At app. 7:30pm on Saturday 25 September 2010, a Palestinian locally-made rocket fell by mistake on a Palestinian house in the Al-Faraheen neighborhood east of Abasan town, east of Khan Younis district. The house, which comprises a ground floor and hosts four residents, belongs to Basem Ibrahim Qdeeh. As a result, the house was damaged. No injuries or casualties were reported as the Qdeeh family were on a visit to their relatives when the rocket hit their house
