9am on Thursday 22 July 2010, the Gaza Government’s internal security apparatus summoned Maysoun Hussein Abu Ruqa, 23, who was ordered to appear in its office in east Khan Younis.
She was interrogated for an hour and a half about her participation in social activities and her work with Fatah movement.
About three weeks earlier, on 31 June 2010, Abu Ruqa’s ID card and handbag were confiscated from her while she was participating in an activity for the Wa'ed Society.
When the apparatus released Abu Ruqa, on 22 July, they handed her the confiscated ID card and hand bag.
Abu Ruqa is known as a Fatah activist and lives in the town of Khan Younis in the south of the Gaza Strip.
