For the second consecutive month, the Gaza internal security apparatus continued to summon Fatah activists and members in the North Gaza District.
In the evening hours of Thursday 7 July 2010, the Gaza Government's security apparatus summoned 30 Fatah activists and members to its office in Jabalia refugee camp.
During the last period, the summoned persons went to the apparatus office and they were given different appointments to appear at the apparatus office.
Some of the summoned persons were summoned more than once and others were summoned daily.
In their affidavits to Al Mezan, the summoned persons said that they were detained in three mobile narrow cells, two meters long and 80cm wide.
Between three and four persons were detained in these cells.
When there were large numbers of detainees, the apparatus detained them in a hall before the interrogation rooms and blindfolded them.
During detention, the security apparatus did not interrogate the detainees and did not provide food and water to them.
The duration of detention varies from one detainee to another.
Some of the detainees were detained until the afternoon, evening, or midnight.
