Gaza Government Internal Security Apparatus Continues to Summon Fatah Activists in North Gaza District

8pm on Sunday 6 June 2010, the Gaza Government’s internal security apparatus started a summons campaign for Fatah members and activists throughout the North Gaza District to its office in Jabalia refugee camp.
The apparatus summoned 90 Fatah activists.
They have been ordered to appear at the internal security office between Monday June 7th and Thursday June 17th2010.
The period of the summons has been extended from 17 June to 2 July 2010.
During the last period, the summoned persons went to the apparatus office and they were given different appointments to appear at the apparatus office.
Every day the number of summoned persons increases.
The total number of summoned persons is 68.
In their affidavits to Al Mezan, the summoned persons said that were detained in mobile iron cells, which are very hot, and the doors and windows were closed while they were inside.
There were beds without mattresses and between 10 and20 persons were detained in an area that is not more than 16 square meters.
During detention, the security apparatus did not provide food and water for the detainees.
