In the morning hours of Sunday 29 May 2010, the Gaza Government’s internal security apparatus started a summons campaign for Fatah movement activists and members throughout the North Gaza District.
They have been ordered to appear at its office in Jabalia refugee camp.
The summoned were released in the evening hours of the same day, but they were issued summonses to appear at the office in the next days.
They have been told that they would be summoned on a daily basis during June.
On 31 May and 2 June 2010, the apparatus expanded the campaign and summoned more Fatah members.
The summoned persons usually appeared at the apparatus office at 8:30am and were released in the evening hours of the same day but only after being issued daily summonses.
This summons campaign continued until Monday 7 June 2010.
