3:55pm on Tuesday 1 June 2010, Israeli tanks, positioned at the northern border between Gaza and Israel, opened fire on three Palestinians who were 900 meters away from the separation fence at the border in the Hamdoush family agricultural land.
As a result, Alaa Mohammed Ghannam, 22; Haiel Hasan Al Qadi, 23, who lives in Rafah; and Arfat Musalam Abu Eid, 22, who lives in Khan Younis, were killed.
According to medical sources at Kamal Odwan Hospital, they sustained shrapnel from the artillery shell in different parts of the body.
