5:30pm on Saturday 24 April 2010, the Gaza police broke into Rashad Al Shawa Cultural Center and terminated a show by the 'B-Boy Gaza' band.
The band started its show at the Rashad Al Shawa Cultural Center at 4:30pm on the same day and it was scheduled to continue for three hours.
According to Al Mezan's field investigations, the police confiscated video tapes from the cameramen and forced about 800 members of the audience to leave the hall.
The police also summoned 11 of the show's organizersto the Al-Abbas police station in Gaza City.
The police forced two of the show's organizers, Mohammed Lubad and Mohammed Hijazi, to sign a pledge not to organize shows without obtaining permits from the Palestinian police.
Two hours later, the police released all the detainees.
