At app. 15:15am on Sunday 7 February 2010, Mo'utaz Hamdan Mahmoud Abu Shanab,30, who lives in Khan Younis District, was injured as he fell down ia tunnel shaft on the Gaza-Egypt border in Al Brazil neighborhood south of Rafah. He was admitted to the hospital. In a separate incident, at app. 2:40pm on Sunday 7 February 2010, Sami Mohammed An-Najar was injured when the tunnel he was working inside collapsed in the As-Salam neighborhood, south Rafah town. At app. 11:30pm on Sunday 7 February 2010, Adham Talal Qahman,26, who lives in Khan Younis, was injured when a tunnel collapsedon the Gaza-Egypt border in the As-Salam neighborhood south of Rafah. According to medical sources at Abu Yousif An-Najar, the injures are moderate.
