At approximately 7:40 on Wednesday 2009, medical sources at An- Najar Hospital in Rafah announced the death of Riziq Mohammed Al-Masri, 35, from Khan Younis, and Naser Yousif Abu Sief, 45, from Gaza city. Both of them suffocated to death inside a tunnel near the Gaza-Egypt border, west to Salah Ad-Din Gate. The tunnel had been shelled by Israeli warplanes. Nine others were injured as a result. According to the same medical sources, the injuries are moderate.
