The Gaza Government internal security apparatus has arrested number of persons in Middle Gaza Governorate.
At approximately 5:00pm on Friday 14 August 2009, the internal security erected checkpoints on Salah Ad-Din Street and searched cars.
They arrested several people.
The arrests are believed to be relevant to the clashes in the town of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip.
Al Mezan knew names of some detainees: Hussein Mohammed Aj-Ja'eitni, 32, Mou'min Mohammed Aj-Ja'eitni, 17, Mohammed Walid Al-Habash, 19, Bilal Yahia Abu Jrai, 26, and Ahmed Mahmoud Abu Ea'riban, 32.
They are still detained until today, Monday 17 August 2009.
