On 2 Dec, at approximately 15:00, armed clashes broke out between, on the one hand, members of the protective security apparatus, the special forces of the Ministry of Interior, and the Palestinian police, and, on the other, family members in Gaza city. These forces were in a joint mission to arrest a member of that family. Clashes continued until 22:00, and resulted in the injury of 9 citizens and the arrest of 21 others.
