Tension and clashes renew between Hamas and Fatah in North Gaza

On 8 January 2007 at app.
9:30pm, Fatah supporters detained three gunmen: Mosaab Hejazi, Ahmad Hejazi, and Saeed Agha, they claimed that the gunmen were plotting to lay a bomb near the house of Rashed Abu Ajeena who is affiliated with Fatah.
Fatah supporters torched the car of the gunmen where they found ammunition.
The detained gunmen were released three hours later following the intervention of the High Committee of National and Islamic Factions.
