At app. 9pm on 22 April 2007, gunmen attacked Atef Suliman, 40, Director of National Security Operations in the southern area, they forced him out of the car, beaten him, and siezed his car and cell phone and fled. He was transferred to Nasser Hospital and investigations are still under way to identify the identity of the attackers.
