On 10/5/2007, at approximately 17:30, unknown armed men kidnapped Mahdi gharib, 31, close to his home in the At Twam neighborhood in northern Gaza. Gharib was taken to an unknown destination, but released later the same day after being beaten. According to medical sources, Gharibsustained moderate injuries.
