At approximately 22:30 on the 13th of May 2007, unknown armed men prepared an ambush for a border forces patrol, close to Nahal Ouz Crossing, in eastern Al Shaja'ia neighborhood. The armed men opened fire at the patrol injuring Husam Soliman Al Moghani, 28, and two female children; Sali Alaa Al Hilo, 9, and Inas Osama Abu Al Qomuz, 5, who were at the scene at the time of the attack
