At app. 22:00 on the 8th of June 2007, unknown armed men kidnapped Izz Abd Al Aziz Abu Shanab, 23, a member of the presidential security, close to his house in the An Nasir Neighborhood of Gaza City. The armed men dumped Abu Shanab in Hmeid street in Gaza after beating him severely.
