Palestinians who have been stranded in Egypt since the closure of Rafah Crossing on 9 June 2007, started to enter the Gaza Strip via Erez Crossing.
Israel allowed groups of them to enter daily since Sunday, 29 July 2007.
Some 1,625 people have returned to their homes by yesterday, 1 August 2007.
On Sunday, some105 people- most of whom were sick- were allowed entry to Gaza; on Monday 300; on Tuesday 260; and about 600 on Wednesday.
