At approximately 4.30pm, on Wednesday 22 August 2007, Hazim Muhammad Al Sheikh, 22, and his wife Maha Samir Al Sheikh, 22, were injured as the first misused a suspect device which denoted in their house in the Tal As-Sultan neighborhood of Rafah.They were admitted to the European hospital in Khan Younis to undergo medical treatment.
