IOF vessels injure and detain Palestinian northwest Beit Lahia

At approximately 11.
45am, on Tuesday, 28 August 2007, IOF vessels lunched thee shells that landed in an open agricultural area along the beach of Beit Lahia, in western As Saifa area.
The shelling resulted in the injury of Ra'ed Ar Rafati, 40, with shrapnel to different parts of his body.

Palestinian ambulances were denied access to the victim as there was not a prior coordination with the IOF.
Ar Rafati was later detained by the IOF despite his injury.
