At app.5.30am, on 26 October 2007, seven IOF armored vehicles penetrated in eastern Al Shaja'ia neighborhood, and razed agricultural lands. Armed clashes erupted between the IOF and citizens in the area, which resulted in the killing of 21-year-old Abed Ar-Rahim Omer Hamdona and the injury of three others as an IOF jet fired a missile at them during the clashes. As the IOF withdrew from the neighborhood at app.12am on the same day, they fired a shell at a group of people, killing 26-year-old Muhammad Said Shalabiya and 21-year-old Ahmad Nahid Hassanein. Three others were injured in this attack.
