10:40am, on 21/2/2008, UNRWA decided to evacuate the Al Shouka Primary School for Boys and the Al Shouka Clinic due to the advance of IOF military vehicles in the vicinity of the school.
The IOF had opened fire for about ten minutes, which caused great danger to the lives of students.
After the IOF withdrew from the vicinity of the school, UNRWA decided to evacuate the school of its students immediately in order to protect their lives.
This is the second time within a week these same students were exposed to danger from the IOF, forcing UNRWA to evacuate the school for the second time.
