1:30pm, on 18/4/2008, police prevented members of the Fateh movement from organizing a march to commemorate a Palestinian prisoner.
The march was supposed to take place after Friday's prayer starting from Al Awda Mosque in central Rafah.
The police chased Fatah activists throughout Rafah's streets.
They beat a number of citizens severely and arrested a group of them, on the pretext that the march was unauthorized.
The police continued to follow them in the streets for about one hour, in which they prevented citizens from gathering in streets.
