26 April 2008
Short Link:
On 26 April 2008, UNRWA stopped the service of collecting wastes from the refugee camps in Rafah, due to the lack of fuel needed to operate the waste collection vehicles.
This will negatively affect the lives and health of the residents of these areas.
These camps are the most densely populated areas, and the rise of temperature may lead to the decomposition of garbage, which would cause the spread of pests and rodents, and consequently harm the resident health.
