At app. 11am, on 5/5/2008, civil defense crews found the body of 28-year-old Bander Zo'rob and 28-year-old Rami Al Sha'er smothered in a tunnel which collapsed on them. The tunnel was connecting Rafah town with the Egyptian territories. Also, four others were injured and were reported to have sustained moderate injuries.
