Gaza Police Raid the Masoud's Clan Council; Arrest Residents of the House

At around 20:30 on Monday, 10 November 2008, a CID police force raided the Masoud's clan council, located in Jabalia, and arrested everyone in the place.
The police force returned after a few minutes and searched the house and arrested others who were inside.
There was no clear reason for the arrest.
Abdallah Farjallah, 24, attempted to escape from the police and his left leg was broken.
The arrested are as follows: Ahmad Hassan Masoud, 49.
Islam Muhammad Masoud, 25.
Abdallah Abdelmutee Masoud, 46.
Nafidh Jabir Masoud, 45.
Hassan Muhammad Masound, 30.
Fathi Muhammad Masoud, 55.
Zaki Ahmad Masoud, 19.
Ahmad Zumlut, 60.
Ramiz Awaja, 24.
Shadi Abu Khatir, 24.
Ismael Thabit, 30.
Muhammad Attananni, 29.

The arrested persons were released a few hours after the arrest.
It is noteworthy that the police beat a number of them.
Islam Masoud was admitted to Balsam Police Hospital before he was released.
