The area is one of the most marginalized areas in the Gaza Strip and lacks most of the basic services.
The living conditions in the area are expected to worsen had the Municipality not payed attention to it.
The most striking problems in the area are the lack of sanitation services, unpaved roads, and the lack of a sewage system.
Residents of marginalized areas should determine their priorities themselves.
