At 17:00 on Tuesday, 16 January 2018, Israeli forces took to detention Asef Ezzeddein Abu Zayda, 20-year old resident of Jabalia refugee camp in North Gaza. Asef is a military employee of the Palestinian Authority; he was detained while in Beit El, next to Ramallah in the occupied West Bank, and he was sent to Ashkelon prison for interrogation. According to field monitoring, Asef went to Beit El in order to apply for permission, but Israeli forces detained him instead
