Explosion at the house of the Head of Gaza's District Court

A bomb has exploded in front of a house owned by Fayez Zayara, 53, the headof Gaza's District Court.
According to Al Mezan fieldworkers, a bomb was placed in front of the house of the head of the district court located in Sheikh Ejleen neighborhood in Gaza City; the explosion resulted in severe damage of the facade of his house, his car and adjacent houses.
It is worth noting that Zayara has always enjoyed a good reputation and was never subjected to such incidents.
Al Mezan Center for Human Rights condemns the attack which targets the reverence and supremacy of justice; it hereby calls upon the PNA to take the following procedures: 1.
Open an investigation on the incidents and bring the perpetrators to justice.
2.
Put an end to the state of insecurity which destabilizes the Palestinian society.
3.
Provide protection to members of the judicial authority and take necessary security measures in order for the members to perfectly accomplish their tasks.
