At 01:00 pm on Wednesday, 13 December 2017, Israeli occupation forces (IOF) opened fire and fired tear gas canisters at a group of Palestinian young men who were only 10 meters away from the border fence eastern Kuza’a and Abasan villages. The group was participating in a demonstration for solidarity with Jerusalem and they threw stones at the at the Israeli soldiers behind the fence. Clashes continued for hours, and caused the injury of five persons, 4 of them are children. Wounded were admitted to the European Hospital and the medical staff described their injures as moderate and minor. Some persons got suffocated after inhaling the tear gas.
