Israeli Gunboats Open Fire at Palestinian Fishing Boats Western Al Waha Area

At approximately 8:45 am on Sunday, 22 January 2017, Israeli gunboats opened fire at Palestinian fishing boats which were in the Gaza sea of Beit Lahiya, western Al Waha area, west of North Gaza district. Fishermen abandoned their work and sailed back to land. No injuries or causalities were reported.
