Israeli Gunboats Open Fire at Palestinian Fishing Boats West of Jabaliya

At approximately 7:00 am on Wednesday, 24 August 2016, Israeli gunboats opened fire at Palestinian fishing boats which were in the sea of Al Sodaneyya area west of Jabaliya in North Gaza district. According to Al Mezan’s field investigations, there is a large number of Israeli gunboats in the sea of North Gaza  district. Fishermen abandoned their work for the day, and sailed back to the shore immediately, a reflection of menace associated with the Israeli presence.  No Injuries or causalities were reported.
