Israeli Gunboats Open Fire at Palestinian Fishing Boats West of Beit Lahiya

At approximately 9:30 am on Friday, 22 May 2015, Israeli gunboats opened fire at Palestinian fishing boats which were in the Gaza sea north and west of Al Waha area-near the maritime borders- west of Beit Lahiya in North Gaza district. No injuries or causalities were reported. According to Al Mezan’s filed investigations, Israeli gunboat chased under covering fire one Palestinian fishing boat but it escaped.
