Explosion in Beit Hanoun

At approximately 7:20 pm on Friday, 13 March 2015, an explosion took place near the house of Suliman Mohammed Abu Oda that is located in Abu Oda street in Beit Hanoun, in North Gaza district.
As a result, the house sustained minor physical damages.
According to Al Mezan's field investigations, the explosion took place when some children were playing near their house that is located near an area that was totally destroyed during “Protective Edge Operationâ€‌.
Children sat fire over the rubble of the destroyed place when the explosion took place.
It is believed that the explosion took place when unexploded ordnance left by Israeli forces during the last war was exploded.
