Locally-Made Rocket Hits a House; Injuries a Woman in Al Maghazi Refugee Camp

At approximately 10:30pm on Thursday 16 June 2011, a locally made rocket hit the house of Salman Ayiash Suleiman Abu Oweida, 43, which is located in the Berket Al Wiz area in Al Maghazi refugee camp.
As a result, Samia Ayish Abu Oweida, 18, sustained shrapnel in different parts of her body while she was in her house.
She was admitted to Shuhadaa Al Aqsa Hospital in Deir Al Balah were her injuries were described as moderate.
The first floor of the house sustained physical damages as a result of the explosion.
The three-story house hosts four families, about 16 persons; four of whom are children.
Adjacent houses were partially destroyed due to the explosion and people were panicked and scared.
