IOF Opens Fire at Palestinian Fishermen in Open Sea North of Gaza

15am, on 17 March 2008, IOF gunboats opened fire at Palestinian fishing boats in open sea, close to the Al Waha resort, west of Beit Lahia town.
The shooting resulted in the killing of Deep Kamel Deep Al Anqah, 23, with live bullets to his left shoulder and back.
Al Anaqahwas reported to have sustained serious injuries.
It is worth mentioning that the fishermen were located more than one kilometer from the maritime borders.
