Al Mezan condemns terrifying civilians and calls upon the International Community to undertake its obligations regarding recent attacks in the OPT

on June 27th, 2006 Al Mezan Center for Human Rights issued a press release where it condemns the IOF ongoing war crimes by targeting civilians and tightening the siege and closure and threatening of a punishing war operations.
Al Mezan confirms that the International Community, most notably the High Contracting Parties to Geneva Convention, should undertake their legal and ethical duty and immediately intervene to put a halt to the crimes which the IOF threaten to commit.
With reference to their past military operations, the IOF are undoubtfully disregard the regulations of the IHL while dealing with civilians and properties in the OPT.
