Explosive device denoted at entrance of Rafah municipality

At approximately 3am on the 5th October 2007, an explosive device denoted in front of the Gate of Rafah municipality's building, in Omer Iben Al Khattab street, in central Rafah town.
The explosion resulted in material damages to the building.
No information is available regarding the identity perpetreators or rhe motivations behind the incident.
