The Palestinians Continue to Defend Al-Aqsa

For the 8th consecutive day, the Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza Strip continue to protest against the Israeli aggression.
The Palestinians gathered after the “ Friday” prayer in all the areas of the Occupied Territories and marched towards the sites of the belligerent Israeli Occupation Forces.
he Palestinians in Gaza Strip has marching towards Al-Shuhada’ crossroad by Nitsarim settlement northern to Gaza city and Beit- Hanoun ( Erez) check point, the northern gate of Gaza Strip.
The Israeli soldiers used their weapons to dispese them killing at least one Palestinian and injuring tens others.
At and in the area around Al-Shuhada’ crossroad, the Israelis implanted mines.
One of them has exploded leading to several casualties among the Palestinian civilians.
The Palestinians in the West Bank also marched towards the Israeli military sites and protested against the Israeli aggression.
As a result 3 Palestinians, two in Nablus and one in Tul-Karm, were killed and tens wounded.
Despite the strict military Israeli measures aiming at preventing the arrival of Palestinians to old Jerusalem, thousands of Palestinians managed to reach Al-Aqsa mosque.
As soon as the Friday’s prayer ended, clashes started with the result of killing Palestinian and injuring tens others.
During these clashes, the Palestinian demonstrators managed to expel the Israeli policemen from a police checkpoint near Al-Sisilah gate.
AL-MEZAN Center for Human Rights ascertains the following: Both the Israeli political as well the military leaderships are determined to continue the aggression against the Palestinian people.
The Arab as well as Islamic countries are not responding sufficiently to the planned killing of their brothers in Palestinians.
The USA continues to support the Israeli positions in a disgusting manner.
The international community continues to watch the highly dangerous situation quietly in acquiescence.
In the light of all that, AL-MEZAN Center for Human Rights perceives that our strength is encompassed in our unity and calls upon the different Palestinian political factions to be united.
It also calls upon the Arab countries to take immediate actions against Israel.
More over, it calls upon the United Nations to impose immediate sanctions against Israel.
