AOHR Calls for International Investigation into Crimes Committed by the Authorities against Unarmed Protestors in Yemen

The Arab Organization for Human Rights (AOHR) condemns the crime committed by security forces, of breaking into the Al Taghyeer (Change) Square in the capital, Sanaa.
The incident started at 5:45am today.
Live ammunition and unidentified tear gas bombs were used.
As a result, dozens of people were killed and injured.
The AOHR followed these crimes of state terrorism, which continue to be committed by the Yemeni authorities.
Dozens of snipers were stationed on the rooftops of buildings in the Al Taghyeer Square and live bullets were fired at unarmed protestors.
    The AOHR asserts the importance of initiating swift international investigation into these consecutive crimes which escalated quantitatively and qualitatively and were committed by the Yemeni regime.
The AOHR asserts that it will continue to document field information and affidavits in Yemen to bring the perpetrators to justice, whatever their position may be.
