At approximately 1:30 pm on Friday, 28 October 2016, Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) opened fire and launched tear gas canisters at tens of Palestinian young men and children who were participating in a popular event to protest against Israeli violations in Jerusalem and the broader West Bank. As a result, two protestors sustained bullet wounds. Medial sources at Al Shifa Hospital described their injuries as moderate. According to Al Mezan’s fields investigations, IOF opened fire at the injured young men while they were near the eastern borders. The shooting lasted until 7:30 pm on the same day. PRCS medical crew treated who inhaled the teas gas in the field.
