At approximately 7:00 am on Monday, 17 October 2016, Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) opened fire at two technicians of the maintenance crew of the Gaza Electricity Distribution Company while they were fixing lines feeding Khan Yousis city. They were checking distribution transformer which is only about 300 meters away from the border fence, easten Khuza’a village when the IOF opened fire at them. As a result, the crew left the area without repairing the distribution transformer.
