Israeli Aircrafts Attack a Water Well near the Borders Northern Beit Lahiya

At approximately 3:35 am on Thursday, 15 September 2016, Israeli aircrafts fired several missiles at a water well  used for agricultural issues and totally destroyed it along with a nearby house. The well and the house are owned by Salem Hamad Abu Shammas and are located eastern the Al Sayafa area northern Beit Lahiya in North Gaza district. No casualties or injuries were reported.

According to Al Mezan’s field investigations, the well is used on a daily basis. It is uncovered. It supplies water to about 33 donums of agricultural lands rented or owned by the well’s owner. It’s about 800 meters far from the northern borders. It’s worth mentioning that this well was destroyed during cast lead operation and rebuilt by FAO (Food and Agriculture Organization) few months ago.
